2016 Subaru Forester 4dr CVT 2.5i Premium PZEV

Meet the gray 2016 Subaru Forester—an SUV that’s basically a permission slip to take the “scenic route” every day. With a fuel-sipping 4-cylinder gasoline engine and an automatic Lineartronic CVT, it’s built for smooth, easy commuting during the week and spontaneous getaways when the weekend hits. And because it’s Subaru, you get full-time AWD confidence that feels ready for rainy errands, snowy side streets, and gravel parking lots that pretend they’re “roads.”

This Forester’s personality is equal parts practical and playful. The ride stays composed thanks to a well-balanced suspension setup and stabilizer bars front and rear, while electric power steering keeps things light and predictable around town. When you’re headed out for a longer drive, set the cruise control, settle into the supportive front bucket seats (with a power-adjustable driver’s seat and lumbar support), and let the miles roll by.

Inside, it’s designed to make daily life easier without trying too hard. There’s room to spread out, smart storage throughout the cabin, and a 60/40 folding rear seat that’s ready to pivot from “passengers” to “cargo” in seconds. You’ll also appreciate the little conveniences that add up—multiple 12V outlets for charging duty, a driver information center to keep you in the loop, and an outside temperature gauge for those “is it really that cold?” mornings.

On bright days, slide open the sunroof and bring the outside in. On messy days, the rear wiper and defroster help keep your view clear, and the deep tinted glass adds a touch of privacy and comfort. The alloy wheels and roof antenna give it a clean, capable look, while the liftgate makes loading up gear refreshingly simple.

Safety is well-covered, too, with a full set of airbags, side-impact protection, tire pressure monitoring, rear child safety locks, an immobilizer, and a perimeter alarm.

Best of all, a CARFAX report is available for extra peace of mind—so you can focus on where you’re going next, not what you’re wondering about.
